How much fits on one page
Capacity is middle of the road: comfortable for five to ten years of experience on a single page. Beyond that, drop the text size a notch in the builder rather than cutting a role.
Horizon and applicant tracking systems
Horizon is a single column, which is the arrangement applicant tracking systems read most reliably. A parser walks the page top to bottom and gets your sections in the order you wrote them. Nothing about this template needs adjusting before you upload it to a job portal.

Horizon template questions
Is a middle-of-the-road design a weakness?
Only in a creative pile, where it will not stand out. For business and general management it is exactly right — approachable enough not to read as stiff, structured enough not to read as casual, and inoffensive in every market.
What if I need it to feel more senior?
Executive Suite and Split Header both raise the register. Horizon is pitched at manager to senior manager; above that the balance it strikes starts to read as unassuming rather than approachable.
When is an icon banner a better choice than a plain one?
When the resume carries several distinct section types and you want a reader moving quickly to find them by shape rather than by reading. It suits operations, IT and hospitality resumes with many short sections, and is unnecessary on a simple three-section history.
