What to watch out for
Monograms suit two- and three-word names. A single-word name, or one that transliterates to four or more parts, gets an initials block that reads oddly. Check the preview before committing.
How much fits on one page
This layout spends space deliberately, so it holds less than most. That works in your favour early in a career, where a densely packed page reads as padding — and against you after about a decade, when you may need the tighter text-size setting in the builder to stay on one page.

Monogram Pro template questions
How are my initials chosen?
They are taken from the first letter of each word in the name field. If that produces something you would rather not have on the page — a long transliterated name, or initials that spell an unfortunate word — shorten the name field itself, or pick Minimal Executive for the same formal register with no monogram.
Is this too formal for a startup?
Usually, yes. The tinted panels and initials block are the register of law, banking and consulting. For a startup with the same seniority, Split Header carries the same authority without the establishment signalling.
What if my initials spell something awkward?
Then use a different template — this one is built around the initials block and there is no way to suppress it without removing the thing that makes it work. Underline or Minimal Executive give you the same restrained, senior feel with the name set as plain type.
