Why it exists
Almost every resume builder works the same way. You spend twenty minutes filling in your work history, choose a template, get to the end, press download — and hit a payment screen. Somewhere between $2 and $36 to get a copy of your own resume.
People looking for work are frequently the people least able to pay it. That is the whole reason this site exists.
How it makes money
Advertising on the page. That is it. There is no premium plan, no subscription, no credit pack, and no feature waiting behind a paywall. Everything — all 29820 design combinations, the ATS checker, unlimited PDF downloads — is available to everyone immediately.
We would rather be paid by advertisers than by someone between jobs.
What we do with your data
Nothing, because we do not have it. Your resume is built and stored inside your own browser using local storage. It is never uploaded to a server, never saved in a database, and never seen by us.
The ATS checker works the same way: the analysis runs as JavaScript on your device. You can disconnect from the internet and it still works.
We do not sell resume data to recruiters. Several free resume sites do — it is a real business model, and it is the one thing we will not do. Full detail is in the privacy policy.
What we do not do
- No account, no email address, no password.
- No watermark on any download, ever.
- No limit on how many resumes or versions you create.
- No selling or sharing of your personal data.
- No AI writing your resume for you. Recruiters can tell, and the numbers have to be yours anyway.
Honest limitations
Because everything is stored in your browser, clearing your browser data deletes your resume. Use the Save data button to export a file if you want a backup or need to move to another device.
The ATS checker uses rules, not access to any employer’s actual system. No tool can tell you exactly how a specific company’s software will score you. What it can do — reliably — is show you which terms from the advert are missing and where your formatting will cause problems.
