How much fits on one page
This is one of the higher-capacity layouts here. The sidebar absorbs skills and certifications that would otherwise eat into the main column, so a ten-to-fifteen year career usually still lands on one page.

Filled headings, a sidebar and a photograph is a lot of commitment for a conservative reader. Dropping the photo is the single change that helps most — it removes a regional risk and calms the page at the same time.
Where do my credentials sit?
In the sidebar, which keeps qualifications and certifications visible beside your history rather than at the foot of the page. That is the argument for this layout in regulated sectors — and the reason to use the Word download for portals.
Should the sidebar carry my photograph or my skills?
Both fit, but not equally well. A centred photograph with skills beneath it uses the column as intended. If you are applying somewhere photographs are unwelcome, drop the image and let skills and certifications fill the column — the layout holds up without it.
