What to watch out for

How much fits on one page
This layout spends space deliberately, so it holds less than most. That works in your favour early in a career, where a densely packed page reads as padding — and against you after about a decade, when you may need the tighter text-size setting in the builder to stay on one page.

How little content does this actually hold?
Less than anything else here. Airy density plus a banner plus a photograph leaves room for a short summary, three or four roles with brief bullets, and little else. It is built for a senior, highly selective one-page statement — not for a full history.
Who is this genuinely for?
Studio principals, creative directors and craft practitioners whose work is seen elsewhere — a portfolio, a body of published work, a reputation. The resume is a calling card in that situation, and the restraint is the message.
What does the soft banner add over a plain photo header?
It gives the portrait a ground to sit on, so the photograph reads as part of the page rather than pasted onto it. That matters in creative and hospitality applications where the document is judged partly as a piece of design. It stays single column, so it parses cleanly.
