How do I stop this looking loud rather than expensive?
Pick the theme first and judge the layout second — that order matters here more than anywhere else on the site. The banner and filled headings commit hard to the accent colour, so Bronze, Ink or Burgundy read as considered where a bright accent reads as promotional.
Is a monogram right for hospitality?
It works well in private client and luxury contexts, where a personal mark reads as a signature. In volume hospitality recruitment it adds little — Elegant gives you the same presented register without it.
What makes this read as premium rather than merely decorated?
