Who the Showcase template suits
Portfolio-adjacent roles — design, video, events — where the banner acts as a title card.
What to watch out for
A showcase layout raises expectations. It should point at work that lives up to it, so include a portfolio link.
How much fits on one page
Capacity is middle of the road: comfortable for five to ten years of experience on a single page. Beyond that, drop the text size a notch in the builder rather than cutting a role.
Showcase and applicant tracking systems
Showcase is a single column, which is the arrangement applicant tracking systems read most reliably. A parser walks the page top to bottom and gets your sections in the order you wrote them. Nothing about this template needs adjusting before you upload it to a job portal.
Where in the world to send the Showcase template
Design, video and events hiring in the US, UK, Australia and India reads a title-card header as apt. Elsewhere — German, Japanese, Gulf corporate applications — a banner that announces before it informs works against the local convention.

Showcase template questions
Should I include a portfolio link?
Yes, and prominently — in the contact block, not buried at the end. A showcase layout raises expectations before a word is read, and it needs somewhere to point. A banner promising work the reader cannot find is worse than a plain page.
What is the monogram doing on a creative layout?
Acting as a personal mark rather than a formal one — on a title-card header it reads closer to a studio logo than to a professional-services initial. If your initials do not carry that, a plain banner is the cleaner choice.
Is a monogram banner too much for a job application?
It depends entirely on the field. In branding, events, hospitality and personal-brand work it reads as someone who understands presentation. In accountancy or engineering it reads as someone who has misjudged the room. The content underneath is conventional, so the banner is the whole of the risk.
