How much fits on one page
This is one of the higher-capacity layouts here. The compressed spacing buys you several extra lines, so a ten-to-fifteen year career usually still lands on one page.
Narrow and applicant tracking systems
Narrow is a single column, which is the arrangement applicant tracking systems read most reliably. A parser walks the page top to bottom and gets your sections in the order you wrote them. Nothing about this template needs adjusting before you upload it to a job portal.

They can. A narrow measure gives long words fewer places to break, so a lengthy employer or qualification name may hyphenate oddly or push to a second line. Check anything long in the preview before you download — abbreviating where it is natural usually fixes it.
How is this different from Compact?
Compact tightens vertical spacing; Narrow tightens the measure and adds boxed headings. Narrow keeps more visible structure at the same density, so it suits a long history you still want to look organised rather than merely squeezed.
When would I choose Narrow over Compact?
Narrow tightens the margins while keeping normal line spacing, so it suits long individual bullet points. Compact tightens the vertical rhythm, which suits many short entries. If your problem is wordy achievements, take Narrow; if it is a long list of roles, take Compact.
