How much fits on one page
This layout spends space deliberately, so it holds less than most. That works in your favour early in a career, where a densely packed page reads as padding — and against you after about a decade, when you may need the tighter text-size setting in the builder to stay on one page.

Top Bar template questions
Will the top bar survive printing?
It sits inside the page margin rather than bleeding to the edge, so it prints reliably on office printers — unlike the full-bleed stripe and banner layouts, which some printers clip. If your application will be printed and handed over, that is a genuine advantage.
Is one strip of colour enough to stand out?
Not in a creative pile, and it is not trying to. This is for the case where a plain resume feels too bare but a designed one would feel wrong — professional services, operations, finance. If you need visible flair, Colour Block or Showcase supply it.
Does the top colour bar waste space on a one-page resume?
It costs roughly 12mm, which is about two bullet points. On a short history that is a fair trade for the structure it gives. If you are fighting to keep a long career on one page, Compact or Narrow recover that space and more.
