Who the Premium Modern template suits
Marketing, brand and communications roles that want polish and a photograph while staying in one parser-friendly column.
What to watch out for
The photograph is the risk, not the layout. Leave it off for the US, UK, Canada and Australia and the design still works.
How much fits on one page
Capacity is middle of the road: comfortable for five to ten years of experience on a single page. Beyond that, drop the text size a notch in the builder rather than cutting a role.
Premium Modern and applicant tracking systems
Premium Modern is a single column, which is the arrangement applicant tracking systems read most reliably. A parser walks the page top to bottom and gets your sections in the order you wrote them. Nothing about this template needs adjusting before you upload it to a job portal.
Where in the world to send the Premium Modern template
A useful compromise for international applications: it offers a photograph for Southern European, Latin American and Middle Eastern markets while staying in one parser-friendly column, so the same file works for a US or UK application with the photo removed. The layout itself carries no regional penalty.

Premium Modern template questions
Is a photo safe on a single-column layout?
The column and the photo are separate risks. Single column solves the parsing problem; the photograph remains a regional judgement. This template is unusual in letting you take one without the other — remove the photo and everything else about the design still works.
Does the timeline rail work with the photo header?
Yes, and they do different jobs — the portrait carries the header, the rail structures the experience section below it. Because both sit in one column, neither costs you machine readability, which is the trade most photo templates make.
Are the skill bars taken seriously by recruiters?
Opinions differ, and the honest answer is that a self-assigned rating carries little evidential weight with an experienced reviewer. What they do well is give a dense skills section visual shape. They render only for skills you have rated, so if you would rather not make the claim, leave them unrated.
