Does the grid parse correctly?
Yes. It is a single-column layout — the grid applies only inside the skills section, which extracts as a normal list of comma-separated terms. This is the safe way to get a scannable skills block without a sidebar.
Is a skills grid better than a comma-separated list for an ATS?
Neither helps or hurts parsing; both extract as text. The grid helps the human reader, who can scan a grid in about a second and has to actually read a comma list. Keep to terms you would be happy to be interviewed on — a grid makes a padded skills section conspicuous.
